David R. Lentz

Gates – David R. Lentz passed away on December 25, 2021 at age 71.  He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Lentz and brother, Daniel Lentz.

David is survived by his mother, Dorothy Lentz; sister, Donna (Doug) Mauser Ross; brother, Richard Mauser; aunts and cousins.

After graduating from Canandaigua Academy, David joined the US Air Force. He was a Radar Specialist and achieved the rank of MSG, serving both in the US and overseas. After being honorably discharged from the US Air Force, David was employed as a computer technician by local firms.

David enjoyed family and never missed a family event. He hiked the Erie Canal and Genesee River trails.  David led groups and helped maintain the trails.
