David E. Sliney

Macedon: Dave passed away on October 18, 2016 at age 78.  He was born in Melrose, MA to the late Edmund and Catherine Sliney.  Dave was predeceased by his wife, Elaine Sliney.  Survived by his daughters, Lianne (Steve) Moore and Noreen (Robert) Grimm; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Moore, Jessica Moore and Ryan Grimm; great grandchild, Jackson Moore; sister, Claire (Francis) O'Brien; brother, Roy Nickerson.

Dave was very involved with St. Patrick's Church and the village of Macedon, where he was a trustee.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday (October 29) at 9:00 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Patrick's Church, 52 Main St., Macedon, NY 14502.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to a charity of choice.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com
