David E. Wood

Palmyra: David was born on December 2, 1946 in Rochester, NY.  He never complained of his illness and fought hard to be at home, where he passed away on December 9, 2014 at age 68.  David was an honorable man and a kind soul.  He was well respected in the Homebuilders community.  David will always be loved and truly missed.

David was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Marie Wood; brother, Richard Wood; father-in-law, Gary MacMillan.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Wood, with whom he shared a very beautiful and blessed life together.  Their loving journey will never end.

David is also survived by his loving children and their spouses; 10 grandchildren, they were each the apple of his eye; siblings, Barb, Ernie and Bob; in-laws, Tal (Sandy) Cloud; loyal dogs, Zooey and Frank; and many friends.

Friends may join the family Monday (December 15) from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY 14519.  David's funeral service will be held on Tuesday (December 16) 1 PM at Palmyra First United Methodist Church, 109 Church St., Palmyra, NY 14522.  Interment in Macedon Village Cemetery.  Contributions may be directed to the Veterans Outreach Center Inc., 791 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620 or Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org ., in David's memory.
