Dawn Honan, born on May 15, 1975, to her mother, Eva Honan in Philipsburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2025, at her home.

Dawn was an employee of Trillium Health Care and had previously worked for the University of Rochester. She graduated from Bolivar Central School in 1993 and then graduated from Olean Business Institute in Olean, NY in 2005.

Dawn loved to spend time with her son and her three beautiful grandchildren. Her favorite things to do in her spare time were being with them, enjoying the fairy garden that she and Camille made together, working on the wooden dollhouse with her grandchildren, thrifting, and watching her family grow up. Her son Preston and his family were everything to her. Dawn loved a good walk and butterflies. Dawn was someone that genuinely enjoyed moments; she was able to appreciate a rainbow. Dawn also thought she was the master of the "conga" dance at times.

Dawn leaves behind her son, Preston Honan (Sam Dumond); her beautiful grandchildren, Kaiden Honan, Elliott Dumond, and Camille Honan. She also leaves behind her mother, Eva Applebee of Shinglehouse, PA; two sisters, Aimee (Justin) Bailey of Wellsboro, NY and Billy (Tom) Garrity of Brodheadsville, PA; along with nieces and nephews.

Dawn had the ability to make some of the best friendships throughout her life, no matter where she was in the world. Some of her lifelong friendships always resulted in hysterical laughter and tears of joy. Her special friends were not limited to: Jessica Davis, Suanne Murphy, Sandy Emerson-Cummins, Rori Johnston, and Jean Kostun of the Bolivar area.
