Derek H. Pieters

Binghamton/Palmyra:  Derek was born on July 17, 1959 and passed away suddenly August 1, 2014 at age 55.  He is survived by his children, Taylor, Alex and Carmen; his mother, Rose Marie Pieters of Cumming, GA.; father, Wayne Pieters of Palm Springs, Ca.; sisters, Lisa (Ed) Mantilla, Laurel (Jose) Soler, and Carmella (Bob) Engels; brothers, Darren (Cheryl) Pieters, Daniel (Kathleen) Pieters, Stephen Marazita, Francis Marazita and Frank Marazita; several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Derek's memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at 3 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels,123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, New York 14522.  For those wishing to attend, Derek's interment will be on Monday August, 18, 2014, at 11 AM in Palmyra Cemetery on Vienna St.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Derek's memory to a charity of your choice.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
