Derick R. Haak

Webster/Ontario: Age 38, took his last ride on Sunday, August 7th, 2022.

Derick is survived by his mother, Tina Haak; his father, Dale Bogardus; his grandmother, Beverly Bogardus and his brother, Cody Haak. He is missed beyond words by more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends than can possibly be listed.

Derick passed doing what he loved. Derick's life was spent riding motorcycles as part of a local club. He held the position of Sergeant at (usually Sleeveless) Arms. Derick put 110% into everything he did. This includes his very successful extermination business built from the ground up.

Derick was a genuine man who stepped up to the plate for anyone who needed it. He was a truly devoted and loyal friend that wanted to take care of everyone he loved. He was a rock for all that knew him. His physical presence may no longer be with us, but his memory will always be carried on in each one of the people he touched.

Derick, you are famous for shaking hands when showing up or leaving an event. You forgot to shake hands and say goodbye this time. You are forever in our hearts.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 between 11 AM- 2 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon NY 14502. A short service will immediately follow calling hours at the funeral home.
