Diana N. Wallace

Palmyra: Passed away on March 21, 2016 at age 59.  She was born on December 3, 1956 in Lyons, NY to the late Don and Dorthea Dandino.  Diana is survived by her husband, Jack Wallace; children, Teri (John Castellano) DeVey and Joe (Lacey) DeVey; grandchildren, Anthony Castellano, Dakota and Greyson DeVey; brother, Dave (Brenda) Dandino; several nieces and nephews; special friends, George (Delores) Attenboro.

Diana owned and operated The Country Hairshoppe in Palmyra, NY for over 35 years.  She loved to be outdoors, where she would garden, hunt and fish.  Diana never missed opening day of Pike season.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking.  Diana loved her family, friends and everyone she met along the way.  She often volunteered for Red Jacket School District and was considered a second mother to many of the kids in the community.  Diana was also an animal lover. You could always find her tending to her goats, sheep and cows along with her cats and her dog, Sammy.  Diana will be dearly missed.

Friends may join Diana's family for calling hours on Friday (March 25) from 4-8 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522.  Her funeral service will be held at Palmyra Reformed Church, 232 Canandaigua St., Palmyra, NY 14522 on Saturday (March 26) at 11 AM.  Interment in North Farmington Friends Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a Go Fund me account has been set up to help in raising funds for the family's expenses and to set up a scholarship through Red Jacket School District or friends may donate to The House of John, 14 Spring St., Clifton Springs, NY 14432 in Diana's name.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
