IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dianna L.
Gross
March 23, 1942 – March 3, 2026
Mass
St. Mary's of the Lake
11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Eastern time)
Dianna passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on March 23, 1942, to Helen Davis and Luther Peets. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Gross, and her siblings, Laura, Judy, David, and Kenny.
She is survived by her sons, Bryon Gross and Ronald (Lisa) Gross; her cherished grandchildren, Adam, Matt, Sarah, Tyler, Trevor, and Carly; her great-grandchildren, Malakai and Riley; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Dianna graduated from Wayne Central, where she met the love of her life. She built a dedicated career in banking, but her greatest joy was raising her two boys. She cherished the years spent cheering them on at wrestling tournaments and creating lasting memories on family camping trips. Later, the family purchased a cottage in the Thousand Islands, a place that became deeply woven into their lives. It was there that countless summers were spent making memories, sharing laughter, and strengthening the bonds that meant so much to her.
After her husband’s passing, Dianna moved to Webster, NY, where she formed close friendships with her “Fab Four,” enjoying dinners out, card games, and laughter together. She found comfort in her beloved dog, Abby, and continued giving back through her church and volunteer work with Pines of Peace.
A memorial mass for Dianna will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 5823 Walworth Road, Ontario, NY 14519. After mass, all are invited to a reception in the Parish Hall. Burial will be held privately at a later date at Furnaceville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Dianna to the Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark, NY 14513.
