Dolores E. Rigglesford       "Dolly"

Palmyra:  Passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the age of 87.  Dolly was born in Lima, NY to the late Thomas H. and Edna "Duncan" Rigglesford on May 14, 1929.  Predeceased by her sisters, Mary Pollot and Bernetta Schumske.  She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy (Frank) DiLuzio and Sue Brownell; brother, David (Maxine) Rigglesford; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and her beloved dog Abby-Bea.

Dolly graduated from Palmyra High School in 1947 and had worked for Garlock as well as Emmons Jewelers at C.W. Stewart in Newark, NY before going to work for the Eastman Kodak Company where she worked for thirty three and a half years.  Dolly retired on January 1, 1990.  She enjoyed gardening and raising her beautiful English Bulldogs.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the MICU at Rochester General Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to Dolly.  Thank you to everyone.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 9-11AM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522 where a funeral service will follow at 11AM.  Interment will be in Palmyra Cemetery.  Donations, in memory of Dolly, may be directed to Lollypop Farm.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
