Donna May Vandervort

Walworth: Donna was born on August 18, 1930 in Forest County, PA and passed away on May 19, 2015 in Sodus, NY at age 84.  She was born to the late Robert and Marguerite Menteer.  Donna was also predeceased by her brothers, Harvey Marshall Menteer and Robert Eugean Menteer.  She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Patty) of Houma, LA, David (Barbara) of Walworth, NY and Luke (Stacey) Vandervort; brother, Theodore Lelana Menteer of Rochester, NY; sister, Leona Marie Menteer of Warren, PA; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her extended family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Donna's life will be held on Wednesday (May 27) at 2 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY.  Burial will be private.  Please consider donations in Donna's name to Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, www.helpinghoundsdogrescue.org or to Blossom View Nursing Home, 6884 Mapel Ave., Sodus, NY 14551.
