Dora G. Jones

Gates – Dora passed away Sunday October 23, 2022 peacefully at home age 77.  She is survived by her husband, Andrew; son, John M Koneski; daughters, Christine Ann Koneski-Colon and Kathleen Ann Phelan; grandchildren, Jason Koneski, Emily Koneski, Brandon Koneski, Grace Koneski, and Alana Torgerson; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Koneski, Stevie Koneski,Giovanni Palmeri, and Sofia Palmeri. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Thiemke and sisters, Sylvia Foley and Claudia Powers and our foreign exchange student, Meike. Family was important to Dora, and she enjoyed entertaining and celebrating the holidays. Calling hours for Dora will be held from 3-5 PM on Sunday (October 30) at Murphy Funeral and Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd. Ontario, NY 14519.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, (October 31), 11am at St Mary's of the Lake Church 5823 Walworth Rd, Ontario, NY 14519.  Dora will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the National Kidney Foundation.
