Doris G. Parr

Palmyra: February 19, 2017 at the age of 101.  Born in Walworth, NY to the late William and Ethel Grandin.  Mrs. Parr was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 2012; sons, Robert and Larry.  Survived by her son, James Parr; daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Dick Miner); grandchildren, Eric (Heather Bootes), Melanie (Mike), Bryan and Meghan (Greg) Siebert; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Elena, Oliver, Noel, James and Jack; several nieces and nephews.  Doris was a former Garlock employee and worked at the Palmyra-Macedon High School cafeteria for several years, before retiring.

Doris' funeral service will be private.  Interment in Palmyra Village Cemetery will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris' memory may be directed to Clifton Springs Nursing Home, Resident Recreational Activities, 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14322, Alzheimer's Association 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 or a charity of your choice.
