Doris Polakiewicz passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at 94, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving daughters.

She was a lifelong resident of Newark where she met her husband and raised their three children. She was a full-time homemaker who enjoyed fashion, jewelry, cooking, sewing, embroidery, creative home decorating, plants, flowers, and had a good sense of humor.

Doris will be greatly missed by her sister, Marian Pagnattaro; daughters, Sheree Polakiewicz (Mark Clingerman) and Diane Green; three grandsons, Elijah (Jen), Erik, and Corick; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jozie, Jamison, and youngest Nina. Aunt Doris will be fondly remembered by her special nieces, grand-nieces, and grand-nephew.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Len and her son Daryl.

In keeping with Doris' wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Final arrangements were made by Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, Macedon. The family would like to thank director Laci, staff, and volunteers of the Laurel House for their great care.
