Palmyra: Died on September 12, 2023 at age 87.
Predeceased by parents, Mollie T. Lowe & Robert Thornton; husband Harland Hudson of Macedon, NY.
Survived by son, Richard (Carol) Duke and daughter, Angelia Duke; grandchildren, Aili Duke, Jason Duke and Richard Lucas; and extended Hudson family members.
Dorothy was born in Georgia and lived in New York state with her family since 1957. She was kind in spirit. She loved reading, crocheting and playing the piano in church.
Friends are invited to call from 11 AM - 1 PM on Friday (September 22) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon. A private burial will take place at Macedon Village Cemetary. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assocation , 200 Meridian Centre Blvd., Suite 110, Rochester NY 14618 , in her memory.
