Langdon, Dorothy Evelyn     "Dot"

Williamson:  Dot passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 89. Dot was born on November 8, 1924 in Sodus, NY to Leonard and Delia Langdon. She was predeceased by her parents; sister and brother-in-law Verna and Wilbur Youngman; brother and sister-in-law Gilbert and Arlene Langdon; sister and brother-in-law Myrtle and Edward Almekinder; sister-in-law Doris Langdon and companion Harvey Glace.  She is survived by her brother George Langdon; special friends and neighbors Gary and Elinor Weldgen,  many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dot worked for many years as a custodian in the Webster Central Schools.  She loved all animals and enjoyed classical country music.  Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed getting together to visit.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation, on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario.  A service to celebrate the life of Dot will follow at 7PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at a later date at the Ridge Chapel Cemetery in Williamson.  Donations in memory of Dot may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489, or a humane society of your choice.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
