Dylan passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2025, at age 31.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Floyd and Francis Engert; aunt, Peg "Sister Estelle"; and uncle, Robert Engert.

Dylan is survived by his mom, Molly (John) Engert; brothers, Tyler (Kaede) Jenner and Thayer Engert; sister, Sydney Engert; grandparents, George and Katie Shepard; aunt, Melissa (Bob) Herson; uncle, Mark (Kim) Shepard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dylan's intelligence and sense of humor brought joy to everyone who knew him. He deeply loved his brothers and sister. Dylan had a profound bond with his beloved dog, Roxy, who passed away last year.

Dylan is loved and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service for Dylan will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Mercy Center at Our Lady of Mercy School, 1437 Blossom Rd., Rochester, NY 14610.
