Edward T. Schafer

Ontario: Edward passed away on July 22, 2016 at age 90.  He was predeceased by his father, Charlie Schafer.  Edward is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Schafer; children, Marion (Frederick) Gioia, Edward Schafer, Jr., Cindy (Roger) Smith and Steven (Sandy) Discavage; grandchildren, Stephanie, Freddy, Shane, Eddie, Chastity, Lindsey, Jessica and Julia; many great grandchildren.

Edward proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a firefighter crash rescue man.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Edward was a skilled craftsman and often made many fishing lures and lawn ornaments.
