Eileen S. Nichols

Palmyra – Eileen passed away on May 21, 2021 at age 97.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Nichols.

Eileen is survived by her children, Charles (Norma) Nichols, Mike (Jackie) Nichols, and Dorothy (Ted) Veit; grandchildren, Julie (Vince DeMaro), Charlie T., Shana, Michael, Zachary, Kylee, Gabrielle (Jordan Auckland), TC (Lynace) Veit, and Ben; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Eileen loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and playing the organ.  Eileen was very proud of her career as a telephone operator.  She was a long-time member of St. Anne's Church.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Tuesday (May 25) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday (May 26), 10 AM at St. Anne's Church, 136 Church St., Palmyra, NY 14522.  Eileen will be laid to rest in Palmyra Village Cemetery.
