Eileen Toole Savanyu

Palmyra: Eileen passed away on Monday, May 30 2016.  She was born on June 18, 1949 in Newark, NY to the late Francis and Madeline Toole.  Eileen is survived by her children, Rachael (John Hogan) Savanyu and Jan Savanyu; siblings, Patricia Baker, Stephen (Marie) Toole and Lawrence Toole; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eileen was a retired nurse, earning her nursing degree from Finger Lakes College.  She also earned a law degree from Syracuse University.  Some of her favorite things to do included reading science fiction novels, reading to her children and listening to Opera.

Family and friends may join for Eileen's Funeral Service on Friday (June 3) at 11 AM at the funeral chapel, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522.  Her burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery.  Contributions in Eileen's name may be directed to a charity of choice.
