Elinor "Vandy" VanderBrook, 94, of Penfield, passed away on September 29, 2023 in Penfield, NY. She was born on October 10, 1928 in Marion, NY.  Vandy was a kind, loyal and independent woman who loved to have fun.  She cherished her friendships and loved spending time with her family.

Vandy is survived by three nieces, Jileen (VanderBrook) Crawford, Lori (VanderBrook) McClintock, Vicki (VanderBrook) Guggenbickler, one nephew, John G. VanderBrook, several great nieces and nephews and her best friend, Jeanette.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Minnie (VanderBrook) Bertou, and brothers John VanderBrook and Frank VanderBrook.

Vandy proudly served in the United States Air Force.  Her dedication and commitment to her military associations were unwavering and one of her greatest accomplishments.
