Yacci, Emily A.     "Vecchi"

Canandaigua/Macedon: Passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the age of 95.  Emily was born on October 28, 1919 in Canandaigua, NY to the late Venanzio and Mary Vecchi.  Emily was predeceased by her husband Angelo in 1989 and her brothers Henry and Tony.  She is survived by her daughter Angela (Jerry) Cappiello, and son Michael (Nancy) Yacci; grandchildren, Wendy (Lisa) Zarnello, Pamela (Nate Gilmore) Cappiello, Paul (Allison) Yacci,  Marlana (Matthew) Davis and Terence Thomas; great grandson Timothy Walls; sister, Ann Hogan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Emily loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren.  She was educated to be a school teacher and spent a few years doing so prior to having her children.  In later years she worked as a nurses aide in the Canandaigua VA hospital. She enjoyed knitting, crochet, gardening and biographies.  Emily lived a long, productive life and will be missed very much by her family.

There will be nor prior visitation.  Friends and family may gather for her funeral service at the All Seasons Chapel, White Haven Memorial Park, Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY., on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10AM.  Entombment will follow at the cemetery.  Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.  To leave a condolence, or make a floral offering, please go to www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
