Bushwood, Evelyn A.          "Evie"

Ontario: Passed away peacefully, at her residence, on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the age of 88.  Evie was born on March 15, 1925 at the home of her parents Frank and Agnes Smith. She is predeceased by her parents; sisters, Sister Rosina, SSJ, Beatrice and Dorothy Smith; brothers, Arthur, Gerald and Leo Smith.  Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James; sons, Thomas and Timothy (Rhonda) Bushwood; granddaughers, Amanda and Ashley Bushwood; great-grandchildren Madelyn and Emma; step-granddaughters, Mary Jo (Dan) Evans and Tracey Willard; sister, Rita (Robert) Scheg; sister-in-law Nancy Smith, other relatives and friends.

Evie was born across the street from Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Webster, NY.  She attended and graduated from Holy Trinity School.  Evie was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Ontario.  She had a very strong faith.  Evie was a part of the church's Martha Ministry.  She was a devoted wife and mother.

There will be no prior calling hours.  Friends and family are invited to gather for her Funeral Mass, on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 10:30AM, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, 5823 Walworth Road, Ontario, NY 14519.  Interment will take place in the Spring at Calvary Cemetery, Ontario, NY.  Condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
