"Pat"

Ontario:  Pat passed away on November 30, 2017 at age 86.  He was born in Ontario, NY to the late Walter and Olive Schreiber.  Pat is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Schreiber; children, Jeffrey Schreiber, Regina "Jean" Pinkney (Joe Occhipinti), Mary (Ted) Goodwin and Julie Place; grandchildren, Crystal (Kip), Scott (Stephanie), Shane (Sheena), Greg (Caitlin), Christine (Rob) and Jason; 7 great grandchildren.

Pat proudly served his country in the United States Army.  After being honorably discharged from the service, Pat met Ginny and the two were married on October 15, 1955.  Ginny was the love of his life and his best friend. Pat owned and operated, Ontario Fruit Market for 10 years.  He and Ginny grew vegetables and worked at the Fairport Farm Market for 21 years.   Pat retired from Wayne Central School District after 17 years of service as a bus driver.

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 4-7 PM on Monday (December 4) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519.  Pat's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (December 5) at 11 AM at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 5823 Walworth Rd., Ontario, NY.  Interment in Furnaceville Cemetery.  Contributions in Pat's memory may be directed to Pines of Peace, 2378 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
