Palma, Frank Carmine

Macedon:  Age 84 at the Clifton Springs Nursing Home, Clifton Springs, NY on January 9, 2014.  Frank was born on July 16, 1929 to Umberto and Maria Merelli Palma. Predeceased by his parents and brothers Gino, Mario, Ray and Armand.  He is survived by his wife Gertrude; daughters, Lisa (Richard) Arkell of Coumbia, SC, Laura (Richard) Eberstein of Perry, NY and Vera (Bruce) Chapman of Macedon, NY; grandchildren, Matthew an Valerie Arkell, Neal (Meagan), Mark and Elise Eberstein, Brian and Gina Chapman; sister, Angelina Meikle of Ossining, NY, many nieces and nephews.

Frank served in the United States Army during WW II.  He retired as a firefighter for the Village of Pelham Manor, Pelham Manor, NY as well as the US Postal Service where he served as a letter carrier in Scarsdale and Pleasantville, NY.  Frank was a resident of Hawthorne, NY for 43 years and moved to Macedon, NY in 2000.
