Port Gibson: Passed on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the age of 80.  Predeceased by her husband William A. "Bill" and siblings Frances, Neil, and Rachel.

Freda is survived by her 2 children W. Allen Wixson and Cynthia (Gary) Amidon; 5 grandchildren, Seth, Joseph (Josie), Ashley (Jalen), Sarah and Carly Jo; great grandson Gavin; sister Catherine Horton; brother Carl Etheridge; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Freda was a school bus driver for many years for the Newark School District.  She also was a proud truck driver for various trucking companies in the Rochester area.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10-12 noon at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY where a service will follow at noon.
