"Mac"

Macedon: Mac was born on August 16, 1930 and passed away on November 21, 2014 at age 84.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty McQuarrie; sons, Larry (Mary) McQuarrie and Lee McQuarrie; daughter, Jodi McQuarrie; grandsons, Lucas McQuarrie and Dylan Balch; granddaughter, Samantha Balch; great-granddaughter, Oliveah McQuarrie; brothers-in-law, Shelby and Bobby Embry; sisters-in-law, Helen Barnes and Margaret Embry; and friends.

Mac served for 2 years in the United States Army at Fort Knox, KY.  For 40 years, he worked for Brainerd's Manufacturing Company of East Rochester.  Mac enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting and fishing.

Friends may join the family on Tuesday (November 25) from 6-7 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 7 PM.  Interment will be held in Newark Cemetery.  To leave a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
