IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald P.
Crowley
June 28, 1923 – October 21, 2014
Crowley, Gerald P. "Jerry"
Liverpool, NY: Formerly of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the age of 91. Jerry was born on June 28, 1923 in Palmyra, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Anne in 1988. He is survived by his two sons; Kenneth and Thomas Crowley; grandchildren, Laura, Neil and Sarah Crowley; longtime companion Dolores Cecere, other family and friends. Jerry served his country during WWII with the Merchant Marines. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator with Upstate NY Engineers in Syracuse, NY. Jerry was pretty skilled at making and fixing things around the home. He would tackle a job with a car, or build something. His son, Kenneth, told about how they lived in a home that was divided up into apartments that his father remodeled himself and maintained. In addition, Jerry enjoyed bowling, golf and shooting pool. He was a member of the Moose and if he was in an area that had a lodge he might take some time and stop in to see it and meet fellow members.
Friends and family are invited to gather, for a time of visitation, on Saturday, October 25 from 10 until 12:30 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522. A service to celebrate Jerry's life will follow at 12:30 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Anne's Cemetery in Palmyra.
