Greece – Jerry passed away on April 8, 2026 at age 91. He was survived by his wife, Mary Meier; children, Jason (Esther) Van Zeilen and Kris (Robyn) Van Zeilen; grandchildren, Willem, Abby, Hailey, Alana, Andie, and Callen; brother, Lowell Meier; sister-in-law, Kathy McCann; many friends.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He played many instruments including banjo, mandolin, guitar, bass guitar, and piano. Jerry was a part of many Blue Grass bands and would enjoy traveling to see different Blue Grass shows.
