"Jeanette"

Fairport – Jeanette went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Jeanette was born in Rochester, NY to the late Wallace and Mildred French. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Johnston, brother David and sister Barb; brother in law, Ron.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Roger (Kim) Johnston, David (Lizabeth) Johnston, Linda (David) Caquatto, Kimberley (Paul) Spiegel, and Wendy (Michael) Murad; grandchildren, Justin Wyman, Joshua Johnston, Jennifer Marcaida, Mackenzie Jaworski, Bridgette Guhl, Bailey Murad, and Connor and Justin Spiegel; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Irving (Peg) French, Ann Matteson, and Sue (Roger) Howell; many nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, Grammy and friend to all that knew her. She was a graduate of East High School. She began her career at Stromberg Carlson. She was a devoted and courageous woman of deep faith. Her priority was always family first and her generosity was unsurpassed.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Wednesday (January 31) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502. Jeanette's funeral service will be held on Thursday (February 1), 11 AM at White Haven Memorial Park (All Seasons Chapel), 210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534, where Jeanette will be laid to rest.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Open Door Mission , PO Box 14236, Rochester NY 14608.
