Gordon Henry von Wiegen

"Buzz"

Palmyra: At age 73, passed away on April 15, 2018.  Gordon was born on February 14, 1945 in Rochester, NY to the late Gordon S. And Anne C.(Walker) von Wiegen. Gordon was pre-deceased by his son Brett, brother George and sister, Patti.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy (Walton); his son Geoffrey and his wife Monique; daughter-in-law, Lisa Garrow-von Wiegen; brothers, Eric and Fred; sister, Sue Pierce; his grandchildren Juliana, Max, Marley and Magnolia; many nieces and nephews.

Buzz spent much of his life self-employed.  This allowed him ample time for his first love, baseball.  He spent many years helping coach and nurture the PAL-Mac Youth Program, while sharing his passion and fostering a healthy spirit of competition and love of team sports.
