Victor - Grace passed away on February 26, 2026 at age 100. She was born in Rochester, NY to the late George & Helen Dutton. She was also predeceased by her husband of 61 years of marriage, Lawrence Vanderlee and granddaughter, Gretchen Vanderlee.

Grace is survived by her sons, Lawrence and David (Wanda) Vanderlee; grandson, David (Brandy) Vanderlee; great-grandchildren, Sahara, Talen and Tristan, and Grace Rose Vanderlee Armenia; many nieces and nephews.

Grace graduated from Brockport State Teachers’ College and taught 1st grade at Wayne Central School District until retiring in 1980.

She enjoyed shopping, golf, antiquing (primarily Pennsylvania Dutch) with husband Lawrence, traveling, and playing slot machines.

Grace was a snowbird and spent winters in Windmill Village by the Sea on Hutchinson Island, Jensen Beach, Florida

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 2-4 PM on Monday (March 2) Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY, where her funeral service will be held at 4 PM. Grace will be privately laid to rest in Webster Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Grace’s memory to Bright Focus Foundation – Macular Degeneration Research (www.brightfocus.org) OR Pet Pride of New York, Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Center (www.petprideny.org).
