Gus Randall Zaso, Sr. passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024 at the age of 62. Gus loved the Buffalo Bills and his dogs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gus was very active in youth sports for all of his children. This activity included being the videographer for football and being instrumental in building the first press box for Wayne Central sports, both of which he took great pride in. The positive interactions with the fantastic children, parents, and coaches along his journey helped Gus to thrive.

Gus is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kara; his children: Christina Cross, Joseph (Ashley) Zaso, and Gus Zaso, Jr.; grandchildren: Elliott, Henry, Olivia, and Collins; mother: Barbara Zaso; siblings: John (Mickey) Zaso, Cheryl (Robert) Dean, Mark Zaso, and Jamie Zaso; several nieces and nephews, extended family, many friends, and his dog Rosey. He is predeceased by his father, Augustine; and his grandparents, Earl and Lessie Dietrich.

He will be greatly missed, but will live on in the memory of all of the lives that he touched.
