Semans, Heather Anne

Ontario:  Passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the age of 36, with her family by her side, after a lifelong struggle with Type 1 Diabetes and many years of battling mental illness.  Heather was born in Newark, NY on March 21, 1978 to Jan and Mike Semans.  She was predeceased by her grandparents; survived by her parents; brother Scott Semans; uncle David Semans, other family and friends.

Heather graduated from Marion Central High School and Cazenovia College.  She worked for a period of time as a counselor with CDS Monarch.  There will be no prior visitation.  A celebration of Heather's life, in recognition of her constant fight and bravery, will be offered on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Western Presbyterian Church, 101 East Main Street, Palmyra, NY 14522, at 2PM.  Interment will be private.
