Inez M. Thompson

Macedon: Inez died peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 89.  Born to the late Frank and Marie Holtz. Predeceased by her best friend and husband Norman "Buddy" Thompson.  Inez was a devoted caregiver of her husband of 45 years.

She is survived by her son, Tom (Debbie) Thompson and daughter Corliss (Kevin) Vonn;  Grandchildren Janet Hunt, Stacey (Chris) Plewinski, Sarah (Scott) Taggart, and Josh (Emily) Hunt; Great-Grandchildren Lauren, Sydney, Sonya, Alexia, and Avery; Inez is also survived by cherished nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, and numerous close friends.

Inez worked as an accomplished Draftsman at Xerox for 20 years. Belonged to the St. John's Lutheran church of Farmington and was a Board member of the Macedon Library, Bullis Estate Library and the Packard Diary's.

Inez was a loving and compassionate mother. For many years, Inez was an avid walker which she enjoyed with her close friends. She also loved birds, playing cards, visiting with friends. She was a courageous woman who inspired others to be strong like herself. She had a joyful smile and a loving heart and will be missed by many, especially her caregivers, Corliss and Janet.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 153 Church St., Farmington, NY 14425.  Inez's interment will take place at North Farmington Friends in the Spring.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the St Johns Lutheran Church, 153 Church St. Farmington, NY 14425, in Inez's memory.
