James "Jim" Grant, 79, passed away peacefully at his home on September 15, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease and its complications.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Edna Grant, and by his beloved son, James "Jamie" Grant.

An avid outdoorsman, Jim found his greatest joy in fishing and hunting—whether traveling across North America or spending time in the woods and by the pond on his cherished Middlesex farm. His three beloved dogs held a special place in his heart and brought him immeasurable happiness.

Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth; his grandsons, Evan and Jordan Grant; and his stepson, Joshua Rabon.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Johnny for his devoted care and to Caroline and the Hospice team for their compassion and support.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, no formal services will be held. Those wishing to honor his memory may consider a donation to the Ontario County Humane Society (Happy Tails) or Ontario Yates Hospice .
