James A. Huurman

Macedon – Jim passed away on June 27, 2022 at age 71.  He was predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Marjorie Huurman; brother, William Huurman; father and mother-in-law, Norman and Alberta Soucy.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Paul) Helfer; grandchildren, Mason and Beckham Helfer; brother, John (Susan) Huurman; sister, Susan (Dave) Adams; several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-6 PM on Thursday (July 7) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502, where Jim's funeral service will be held at 6PM.  A graveside service for Jim will be held on Friday (July 8), 11 AM at Macedon Center Cemetery (Please meet at the cemetery), Canandaigua Rd., Macedon NY.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Jim's memory may be directed to a charity of your choice.
