Ontario – James passed away suddenly on August 19, 2025 at age 67.  He was predeceased by his mother and step-father, K. Ruth Farnand and Robert Farnand and father, James LaPlant.

James is survived by his siblings, Brenda Ferra, Wayne LaPlant, Jerry (Diana) LaPlant, Scott LaPlant, and Steve LaPlant; aunt, Dolly (Mike) Bates; nephews, Bradley and Jeremy and many more.
