IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James F.
Nolan
July 27, 1935 – March 17, 2017
James F. Nolan
Rochester
Died at home, peacefully, on March 17, 2017, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his father James, mother Hilda and his sister Anne. He is survived by his wife, Jane L. Nolan and six children; Michelle (Guillo), Lisa (John), Jeannine (Richard), John (Carolina), Michael (Wendy) and Julie (Todd); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and longtime friend Scott Duval; who always watched over him. Jim was an avid entrepreneur, inventor, racecar driver and enthusiast, animal advocate, a great storyteller, and a very proud Irishman. His accomplishments are too many to name but include starting numerous businesses, competing for a national car race championship, holding several patents, and raising a family of six kids. Anyone who knew him would remember his sense of humor, quick wit, great intellect, and his passion for having fun. He will be missed. A funeral service will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 530 Lyell Ave., Rochester, at 11:00 AM, Sat., March 25, 2017. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation, in his name, to Lollypop Farm.
May you always have work for your hands to do; May your pockets hold always a coin or two. May the sun shine bright on your windowpane; May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of a friend always be near you; and may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
