James J. Porcelli, Jr.

Ontario – Jim passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at age 54. He is survived by his wife, Connie Porcelli; daughters, Courtney Porcelli and Andrea (Thomas) Bell; grandchildren, Colton, Olivia, and Vivian; parents, James and Joanne Porcelli, Sr.; siblings, Kim (Tim) McClure and Janine (John) Mucci; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Jim opened his own business, Adventures In Climbing, in 2007 where he started with one rock wall and turned his company into a successful business spanning many areas including his home-base in Ontario. He had a heart for supporting local businesses and community events. Jim inspired so many with his creativity and passion for his work. Once he had an idea, there was no stopping him, no matter how "out of the box" it may have been. He had a lasting impact on the many lives he touched.

Jim was one to seek the fun and thrill out of life. He enjoyed building, creating, inventing, and playing. Above all his accomplishments, he was most proud of his loving family.

A memorial service celebrating Jim's life will be held on Thursday, February 2, at 11:00 AM at Cross Creek Church, 3700 Route 31, Palmyra, NY 14522. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jim may be directed to Cross Creek Church (https://crosscreek.church/), where Jim was an active member.
