Ontario:  Jim passed away on November 14, 2017 at age 74.  He was born on February 11, 1943 in Rochester, NY to the late Thomas and Eldora Scott.  He was also predeceased by his sister, Mary Therese and brothers, Norbert and Thomas Scott.  Jim is survived by his wife, Melody Scott; brothers and sisters, Martin (Bonnie) and Loren (Susan), Catherine and Eldora (Ron); children, Kim Thompson, Tim (Kelly) Scott, Cindy Thompson, Shannon Thompson, Aron (Emily) Thompson, Norma (James) Werner; grandchildren, Scott, Maria, Jessica (AJ), Hallie, Terry, Alexis, Samantha, Sierra, Melissa, Wyatt, Jansen, Jett, Charlotte, Carter, Isabelle, Calissa, James, Jr. and Gracyn; great grandchild, Isabella; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was a retired RTS bus driver and he will be dearly missed.

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation on Tuesday (November 21) from 4-7 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519, where a brief remembrance service will be held at 7 PM.
