James Frank Thomas

Macedon, NY formerly of Mesa, AZ and Walworth, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the age of 88 years young.  Jim is survived by his sister Carol (Nick) Radford, daughter Dawn Thomas (Mike Humphrey) of Saint Augustine, FL; son Jeffrey Thomas (Sharon Thomas) of Marion, NY, and daughter Sherry Thomas-Ross (Monty Ross) of Royse City, TX, nephew Robert Krezmer (Barb Krezmer) of Rochester, NY.  Grandchildren Randi Thomas of Salt Lake City, UT; Dalton Thomas (Emily Thomas) of Romulus, NY; Halle Campbell of Dallas, TX and Kaitlyn Thomas of Saint Augustine, FL.  He was preceded in death by his Father Frank Thomas, Mother Hazel Thomas, Wife Donna Thomas (Mincemoyer) and brother Frank (Roy) Thomas.

Jim was a veteran with the Navy Branch for 18 months before he met his bride, Donna where friends introduced the couple at a local watering hole Webb Corners in Rochester, NY.  Jim and Donna, we're married on May 6th,1961 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Montoursville, PA.   They started their family and raised three children in the suburbs of Rochester, NY.  Jim worked for Rochester Telephone Company for 38 years and retired in 1994.  Jim and Donna split their retirement years between Mesa, AZ and upstate NY and resided at Parkwood Manor in Macedon, NY.

Jim enjoyed traveling in his motorhome, their cottage on Port Bay cruising on his Chris Craft, as well as traveling on multiple cruises with Donna and family.  He spoke very highly of his children and their children to all friends and family.
