Janet passed away on January 29, 2026, at age 68. She was predeceased by her parents, Erwin Sr. and Mildred “Banker” Scheck; and sister, Dorene.

Janet is survived by her stepchildren, Dan (Elaine) Roland and Deanna (Michael) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Brynn Roland, Tad (Amanda) Tarrant, Erica Spencer, Cheyanne (Peter) Ross, Nicholas (Breanna) Tarrant, great-grandchildren, Logan and Ielyta Tarrant, Tristan and Oliver Spencer, and Joseph Ross; brother, Erwin Scheck Jr.; nephew, Erwin Scheck III; and nieces, Christy and Machele Scheck.

Janet was humble, generous, and loved God and her family with all of her heart. She was a very loving and caring wife, a great friend, and an even better grandma. She spent her time sharing God’s beauty which reflected in her hard work gardening. Her flowers that are expected to bloom each year will remind us of her warm smile and embrace.

A celebration of life will be held for Janet at a later date.
