Palmyra - Janette Goodman Lush Hotel passed away peacefully on May 16th 2026 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her daughter, Roberta Jean Lush, Peggy Sue Lush, and son, Gary Alan Lush; parents, Marvin and Hazel Goodman; sisters, Dorothy Severance, Irene McDermott, Ruth Ford, Joyce Rising; two brothers, Edward Goodman and Frank Goodman. 

Survived by two sisters, Ida Bump and Betty Jackson; sons, Terry Lush (Yvonne) Steven Lush (Kerry); grandchildren, Tara Blankenberg (Joe), Damian Lush, Matthew Lush(Becky) and Renee Lush(Dewayne); many beloved great grandchildren; special friends, Roger and Kathy Grandy, Ian and Leanne and Mike and Linda Halsey. 

Janette loved her dirt races, NASCAR races, and all of her favorite drivers. She was a very proud grandma and loved to talk about all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was well known for her great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service honoring Janette will be held on Saturday, June 6, 11AM at Palmyra Village Cemetery, 272 Vienna St., Palmyra, NY 14522 (Please meet at the Vienna St. gate). Following the graveside service, a celebration of Janette's life will be held at 12PM at Macedon Center Fire Department, 2481 Canandaigua Rd., Macedon, NY 14502.
