Halsey, Janice E.

Palmyra:  Janice passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the age of 66.  Janice was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Robert N. Halsey and son Charlie Forman.  She is survived by 3 children, John (Noelle) Forman, Shannon Demorest, and Mark (Kalona) Forman; six grandchildren, Sheena Zielinski, Mindy Eiseman, Austin (Jeremy) Bergeron, Colby Forman, Dylan Forman and Adam Demorest; five great-granddaughters, Samantha, Gabrielle, Josette, Austina and Nicolette; many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Janice retired from Kodak.  She enjoyed cooking and baking.  Janice's favorite music to listen to was both country and rock-n-roll and she enjoyed dancing. A favorite place to visit was Las Vegas with her husband.  Janice's favorite color was blue and the Yankees were her favorite sports team.

There will be no prior calling hours.  A memorial service to celebrate Janice's life will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 5PM at the Palmyra Fire Hall (Route 31), Palmyra, NY 14522.  Memorials in memory of Janice may be made to the Palmyra Fire Dept., 615 East Main St., Palmyra, NY 14522.
