Jason Chapman 1991—2026

Jason Chapman, 34, of Macedon, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was born on May 31, 1991, in Shortsville, New York, to Edward and Denise Chapman. Jason's life centered around his two children, whom he loved deeply. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and hunter. Jason enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. Since 2016, he owned and operated R&J Building, a building and renovation company. He was passionate about high-quality work, fostering creativity, and maintaining integrity. He consistently applied his extensive construction knowledge and passion to each project. Jason possessed a unique blend of qualities that gave him the perspective of an architect, engineer, and master builder. He is survived by his parents, son Ryder, and daughter Quinn (of Tupper Lake, New York); his brother, Kyle (Moriah) Chapman, and their son, Ace; and many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory and miss him dearly.
