Jason Szachta

Rochester - On Wednesday August 17th, our beloved Jason Szachta passed peacefully at home with his life companion and fur baby, Carol by his side. Jason is predeceased, by his parents, Martha and Richard (SR) Szachta.

He is survived by his brothers, Richard Szachta Jr., Thomas (Kathy) Szachta; sister, Sarah (RJ) Mayo and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jason was born December 29th, 1976 and is described by all who loved and adored him as funny, loving and kind.  He was also described as always being the first one to remind those struggling to "not let negativity and fear rent space in their mind".

Jason loved spending time with his family and friends.  He loved taking walks with his beloved, Carol and the occasional joke or prank that brought joy and laughter to all involved.

Jason's unexpected and untimely death has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He loved and believed in God, and we know he is now at peace next to his maker.  "Goodbyes are not forever; Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean, I'll miss you until we meet again".
