Jean L. Lewis

Rochester: Jean was born on May 14, 1926 to the late Monroe and Anna Shaw.  She passed away on November 15, 2015 at age 89.  Jean was predeceased by her husband, Richard W. Lewis; sons, Curtis Terrien and David Lewis.  She is survived by her son, John S. (Christina) Lewis; daughter-in-law, Susan Terrien; grandchildren, Rodney and Melissa and their families; special friend, Barbara Hart and many other dear friends.

Jean devoted her entire life and career to nursing.  She was a longtime resident to Myers Community Hospital in Sodus, NY and also practiced in New Orleans, South Carolina and taught a nursing class at Alcatraz.   Jean's greatest passion was to live life as much as possible by traveling the world in her self-proclaimed "Peripatetic Hedonism."  In her travels, Jean became fond of Egypt, Spain and Europe in general.  Jean also traveled to Russia and China.
