Jean A. VanHout

Palmyra: Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at age 75.  Jean was born on February 25, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Melvin and Violet Raymond.  She was predeceased by her husband, Theron "Mike" VanHout; brother, Michael Raymond.  Jean is survived by her children, Valerie (Randy) Schwartz, Diane VanHout, Gerald (Laurie) VanHout and Maria (Bernie) McKelson; grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie) and Jason (Liz) Welch, Samantha and Meghan VanHout, Eric and Amanda Schwartz; great grandchildren; sister, Terry Kibble; sister-in-law, Sharon Raymond; nieces, Ashley Kibble, Tammy Mahoney and Jennifer Raymond; nephew, Lane Kibble; many dear friends; K-9 companion, Violet.

Jean worked for Garlock for many years.  She loved traveling to the 1,000 Islands, gardening, cooking and most of all being with family and friends.
