Died in his sleep while battling cancer on October 2 2025.  He is predeceased by stepfather Charles Knowlden.

He is survived by his wife Julie; his children Jeffrey and Heaven along with their mother Dawn Steger. Also surviving are his mother Dianne Knowlden; brothers Jim and Mike; nieces and nephews Kelly, Ashley, Jim Jr. and Mike Jr.  To share a special memory please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
