Jerry Lee Hargrave

Greece, NY:  Jerry passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2018 at age 69 surrounded by family.  He was born in Rochester, NY to Flournoy and Beulah Hargrave.  Jerry is survived by his two children: Erik (Heather) Hargrave and grandchildren Tyler, Erika, and Sawyer of Ontario, NY; and Amy (Steven) Wehrspann, and grandchildren Adam, Alex, and Sarah of Pittsburgh, PA.  He is also survived by his brothers Bruce and Alan, and sisters Cheryl (Roger) Hartter and Patricia Abel as well as one nephew and four nieces. Jerry grew up in Webster before settling in Greece and proudly served in the Army reserves from 1968 to 1974. A career Design Engineer at Kodak, he enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing, and spent many years teaching and guiding other river kayakers.  Jerry was a long-time member of the Adirondack Mountain club, the Flintlock Hunting Club, and more recently the Antique Outboard Motor Club, Inc.
